This week on our Friday Fashion Blogger Takeover we have Chloe Pierre. Chloe is based in London, she blogs via her own individual blog and social channels. She has a very quirky and unique style and she defines the term #GIRLBOSS!

How long have you been blogging?

Since 2009

Who’s your main inspiration?

I don’t have a main inspiration however I am heavily influenced by women both past & present as well as the ever changing world, society, music, travel, fashion & the art world.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Columbia, Brazil or Bermuda

What do you enjoy most about being a blogger?

Meeting amazing people, bloggers/models/PRs, the opportunities I am blessed to receive and being able to be my own type of creative and sometimes inspiring others

Do you face any challenges with being a plus size blogger, if so how do you overcome them?

I would say, defining what plus size means – both in terms of sizes and being a women of colour. I don’t believe in promoting hate/jealousy in ones own community. What I would like to see is less contradictions by other plus size women within the community and less bashing of other body shapes and sizes. Plus size is not one type of woman, shape, skin tone or dress size.

What advice would you give to someone who’s just starting out as a plus size blogger?

Define who you are both onscreen and off screen. I’ve seen many plus size women change their style as soon as another type of blogger becomes more popular. Stay true to your own style, whatever that is. Also, get involved into the community and make a positive name for yourself.

What do you love most about your body?

I quite love the fact that its forever changing. I have gone up and down in sizes and shapes all my life, I don’t rave about it because there are somethings I like to keep to myself but seeing my body change as I adult & learning to love those changes in a way I didn’t love myself before is remarkably beautiful.

Do you blog full time or just as a hobby?

I have said I would go full time for years but I want it all, so its more my part time career because its so much more than a hobby.

And last but not least – What’s your favourite Yours Clothing piece of clothing?

I LOVE the Girls Run the World tee – its so me, what I stand for and unbelievably soft, not to mention affordable. I need a whole week’s worth of this t shirt.
