Purchased this to wear with an evening dress for a work event and it did the job for sure. People kept asking me if I had lost weight! Although a bit hard to put on and slighlt uncomfortable to sit down in, this control band is a must have for any curvy girls wardbobe and at this price I am goning to but ti in black aswell

It was a bit tricky to get this closed up all the way, but my wonderful man helped me, and we both just loves the result. Makes that new dress of mine fit even better!! Holds in but is still comfy! I'm just sorry I didn't get this earlier...

It isn't the easiest thing to get into, but once you're in - it really does the job. I love how it smoothes over my love handles and gives me a cleaner sillouhette.

The boning started to "fold" and dig into me.
I think its better to buy something better adjustable. Some ares were tight and others loose.

I bought this Corset not quite knowing what to expect, but knew the look i wanted to achieve.....although a bit fiddly to do up (velcro would have been kinder) i soon mastered it and boy did it look good! great support no bulgy bits and overall really impressed plus comfy too.

I found the control band to be suprisingly comfortable and pretty. Since having my kids I haven't really felt all that comfortable wearing clingy tops, but I tried it under a tight fitting number and was delighted when a number of people commented on how slim I looked. My only issue was the boning bends slightly if your sitting down for any length of time.

It is tricky to put on just as most shapewear, but with some help it's ok. Once on it gives you a lot of control in the tummy area and tight tops look really better. It feels comfy, I haven't been sitting a lot while wearing it though.

I think I have to get used to this one. It is doing wonders for my waist which is usually non existant, but it presses my stomach down and that looks strange is I use jeans or trousers with the band. But all in all I'm satisfied.

I purchased this item to wear under a dress, I purchased my normal size, but after fastening all the hooks and eyes I felt it did not hold me that much, maybe a size smaller would have been better. It is very pretty material, but found when I tried to sit down, although a bit big, the bones stuck in and it was uncomfortable. would be ok to wear for short periods and if you did not plan to sit much

I bought this same item in the black colour, Loved the shape design and pattern which is beautiful for £6 and very pretty. (I was nervous as I read the reviews here warning the size issues so I got it 2 sizes larger than I really am but the size was still way, way too small. (I was right to get it larger but I still had obviously not gone up high enough as the fit was nowhere big enough a huge gap so I couldn't even do up the hooks and eyes! (I'm a size 22,ordered a 26-28 as advised,and it was still no good at all.)I would advise if you're a size 22 like me then get a size 16. I got my daughter to try it on and she's a 12-14 and it was too loose for her.) Big disapointment as I was looking forward to wearing it on a hotel date with my husband.shame. On a good note I am dieting so this is an incentive for me to keep going and maybe I will fit into it some day. lol.

Even though it has an annoying habit of rolling/riding up especially when you sit down, which can end up making you look ‘lumpy’ around the middle, (unless you can repair to the loo to straighten it out), I love, love, love this belly band.
It’s great for flattening down the upper bit of your tummy so that Empire line/Maxi style dresses actually fall straight down from your bust rather out again on your tummy. It’s also actually fairly comfortable and gives you a great posture when standing.
It’s a bit fiddly to do up due to the number of hooks and eyes, which are necessary otherwise it would gape, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a doddle. Additionally, considering what the hooks and eyes have to hold back, they seem really well sewn onto the fabric which is essential.

First of all SIZE: I wear a 22 in most tops but reading other reviews i bought a 24-26 and it was perfect on the loosest hooks so i can tighten it if i lose weight. secondly COMFORT: it is boned so sitting is a bit of an issue however if you have good posture its not so bad just sit very daigntily on the edge of chairs with a straight back. Overall i love it! it skims over my rolls and gives a sleeker silhouette. and what a bargain!

In terms of the sizing the 20-22 fitted well (I'm a size 20 in most places but more like an 18 at my short waist only). A little tricky to put on but not too difficult. It certainly nips in my belly and back fat deposits without thickening my narrower waist. I haven't worn it all evening yet, but seems quite comfortable.

I was quite impressed with the 20-22 which is meant to be my size, but unlike several others here, I got the best effect from going for the 16-18. Perhaps this is because, although I have a belly bulge, I am smaller at the waist than for the rest of me. It is reasonably comfortable and there is a knack to putting it on, but I could manage it perfectly well by myself.

I bought this band for my wedding as my wedding dress didn't look right because the bones in the dress weren't holding my belly, i bought this as it was a fantastic price and i wasn't too bothered if it didn't work properly because i wasn't loosing out on much money, but after trying it on with my wedding dress i couldn't believe the difference it has made, now my belly looks flat and i can't wait to walk down the isle.

Fits me well, no need to go a size up or down for me, and found it easy enough to get on! I will be wearing this under my wedding dress to pull me in! Slightly uncomfortable after long wear, but nothing to bad.

have had to wear a back brace for 6 months after an injury, have down graded onto this for support its brilliant and in size 26/28 difficult to do up but once your in billiant and it irons out the front bumps too.
