Keep warm this winter at Yours

Friday, November 20, 2009

The nights are drawing in and it is now dark when I leave work. Boo hiss! Come back summer, we miss you! The weather is somewhat chilly and we all need to start moving into our winter wardrobes because some days, it is just too cold to get away with light jumpers.

Luckily for us ladies who feel the cold, knitwear is back in this season with a bang. The purpose of knitwear in fashion this season is to be distinctive so don’t be afraid of ponchos or short-sleeved cardigans, embrace them! Get warm and layer up to create your own distinctive look. My favourite cardigan in our range is this long pink cardi. Berry colours are the colour of the season, especially purples and darker pinks, so with this fine knit cardigan, you will ooze style without even appearing to have tried. The best thing is that it skims over your curves so this cardigan is a flattering and stylish addition to your wardrobe. The pink cardigan is perfect for cosy nights in or an evening out with friends, you can’t go wrong with this beauty.

This season, the purpose of fashion is to make an impact so use knitwear to do this, either by choosing items that are brightly coloured or are different in some way. Our selection of knitwear offers you the chance to stand out and get noticed. Whether you choose chunky-knit items or fine-knitted delicates, your knitwear choices can really update your outfit. Alternatively, you could pick classic jeans and use your knitwear to make wardrobe staple items like jeans and a t-shirt more versatile.

Perfect for the colder evenings out are our shrugs, we have a generous selection that will brighten up your day or jazz up your night. My favourite shrug is this cobalt blue shrug but if it’s one of your favourites too, you need to get it now or miss out as our stocks are running low.

Ladies, keep warm and stay stylish.
